These general terms and conditions of sale apply exclusively to bookings made on the www.domaindedelamance.fr website.
Domaine de la Mance comprises 3 homes on two plots of land:
Prices are given in euros and are subject to change. A tourist tax and an additional departmental tax are compulsory. The amount varies according to the accommodation, the number of adults and the number of nights.
At the time of booking, a deposit of 50 % of the total amount is payable. The balance must be paid before arrival or on site. We reserve the right to refuse a booking in the event of non-payment or non-compliance.
Gîte : rental of accommodation, utilities (water, electricity, heating), household linen (beds made on arrival), towels, unlimited access to the private Nordic bath, kitchen linen.
Cleaning costs are compulsory and are automatically added to the price of your stay.
Maisonnette : rental of accommodation, utilities (water, electricity, heating), household linen (beds made on arrival), towels and kitchen linen.
Roulotte : rental of accommodation, utilities (water, electricity, heating), household linen (beds made on arrival), breakfast, towels and kitchen linen.
Nordic bath for stays in Small house or Roulotte (included in Gîte).
If you would like to use the Nordic bath, please let us know at the time of booking and no later than 24 hours before your arrival.
We take care of preparing the bath and heating the water for the first use. Once the bath is up to temperature, you have unlimited access to it. The bath is exclusively at your disposal. Bathrobes for the Nordic bath are provided.
Additional charges for use of the Nordic bath are :
Attention: the €30 rate only applies to consecutive days. If there is a gap of one day or more, the price of €60 applies.
The Nordic bath is not recommended for pregnant women. People suffering from infectious diseases, skin conditions, obesity or diabetes are not allowed to use the Nordic bath. If you suffer from cardiovascular disease or are taking medication that makes you drowsy, ask your doctor for permission.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult. The recommended minimum age for access to the Nordic bath is 6 years.
The owner declines all responsibility in the event of non-compliance with these rules.
Breakfast for stays in Small house (included in Roulotte).
Breakfast must be ordered at the time of booking and no later than your arrival. The time of service will be arranged together on arrival.
For any modification or cancellation, a written request, preferably by e-mail, will be systematically requested.
We are a small organisation and cancellations affect us. Nevertheless, we understand that certain circumstances may oblige you to cancel a holiday.
For Gîte bookings :
The deposit will be refunded in full if the reservation is cancelled at least 60 days before the start of the holiday. In the event of cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the holiday, the deposit is non-refundable.
If the stay in progress is interrupted, the full amount of the stay must be paid.
For reservations in Maisonnette and Roulotte :
The deposit will be refunded in full if the reservation is cancelled at least 14 days before the start of the holiday. In the event of cancellation less than 14 days before the start of the holiday, the deposit is non-refundable.
If the stay in progress is interrupted, the full amount of the stay must be paid.
In the event of announced external events beyond our control, such as bad weather (storm, fire, etc.) or force majeure (death, hospitalisation, damage to one of our accommodations, etc.), we may have to modify or cancel your holiday.
We will then offer you, subject to availability, an equivalent stay in another accommodation or postpone your stay to a later date.
If you are not satisfied with this offer, all sums paid will be refunded. No other compensation may be claimed.
We reserve the right to refuse access to accommodation to customers who are under the influence of narcotics, drugs or alcohol. In this case, no refund will be possible.
We accept cash, bank transfers and credit cards. Cheques are only accepted for the security deposit or, exceptionally, for the deposit.

The owner undertakes to personally welcome guests with all due attention to make your stay and discovery of the region as enjoyable as possible.
For stays in a Gîte, a deposit cheque for €500 is required on arrival. The deposit cheque will be cancelled within 48 hours of departure if no damage has been found and no shortage has been noted. A photo of the torn cheque will be sent to you.
The deposit can also be made by bank transfer, on request. Refund conditions and times are the same as for payment by cheque.
For safety reasons, use of the chimney is not permitted.
The Nordic bath is a large outdoor wooden tub heated by a wood fire to a temperature of 37 to 39°C. There are no jets.
Use of the Nordic bath, wood for heating and extra towels are included in the price.
We'll heat the bath for you when you arrive. So all you have to do is enjoy it. Wood and everything you need to light it again the next day is provided.
In summer, the bath is left at room temperature so you can use it during the day to cool off. We also provide everything you need to heat it whenever you want.
The stove is very easy to use and works like a fireplace. If you need any help, please don't hesitate to contact us. We live in the same village.

We do not charge a cleaning fee for stays in Maisonnettes and Roulottes. The cleaning charges applicable to stays in Gîtes include the cleaning of floors, sanitary facilities and beds, as well as the washing and ironing of all household linen used during your stay.

Thank you for respecting our accommodation, its facilities and its exterior during your stay. Please inform us of any damage or breakages during your stay and leave the property in good condition.
Pets are allowed in some of our accommodation. If you are planning to bring one or more pets with you, please ensure that they are accepted in the accommodation you have chosen.
Gîte : A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per stay at a supplement of €10/pet/day. If your pet(s) have not been added when booking online and you are bringing them with you, the extra cost will be payable on site. They are not allowed on the beds or sofas. They must not be left alone in the house. They must not cause a nuisance to the neighbours. Any droppings must be collected.
Maisonnette : one small dog allowed per stay at a supplement of €10/day. If the pet was not added when you booked online and you bring it with you, the extra cost will be payable on site. Pets are not allowed on the bed or sofa. Due to the presence of other travellers and pets on site, please keep your dog on a lead in the garden. Please walk your dog outside the property. Droppings must be picked up.
Roulotte : pets are not allowed.
Free private parking is available for our guests. Cars are parked there under your own responsibility.
We recommend that you do not leave valuables in the accommodation. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft.
For everyone's comfort and safety, all our accommodation is non-smoking. You are authorised to smoke outside with the utmost vigilance, provided that no cigarette ends are left in the open air.
Failure to comply with the ban on smoking inside accommodation will incur a penalty of €300.
The gift voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
The voucher will be sent in PDF format to the e-mail address given at the time of purchase.
The beneficiary will be able to use the gift voucher thanks to the unique code written on it. They will be able to choose the accommodation and date of their choice, subject to availability. All they have to do is go to our website, make a reservation and add the gift voucher code at the time of payment. The amount of the voucher will be automatically taken into account and deducted from the final balance.
If the value of the gift card does not cover the total cost of the booking, the balance must be paid on site. No refund will be made if the cost of the booking is less than the value of the voucher.
Gift vouchers are neither transferable nor refundable.
In the event of cancellation of the chosen date, for whatever reason, if the cancellation occurs no more than 30 days before arrival, it will be possible to carry over the gift voucher to a later date, provided that its validity has not expired. Otherwise, if the cancellation occurs between 0 and 30 days before arrival, the gift voucher will be lost.
These general terms and conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts under the conditions of common law.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, this website has been registered with the CNIL (registration no. 1859395 v 0).
Your personal information will only be used to process your booking and will not be passed on to third parties without your prior consent.

The photographs and texts presented on the site are not contractual, even if they are as close as possible to the reality of our accommodation.
We cannot be held responsible for the non-execution or poor execution of the booking in the event of force majeure, the customer's fault or an external factor, such as an unavailable internet network, a virus or a lack of synchronisation of calendars on various platforms.
Any complaint relating to a holiday must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 10 days of the holiday, as evidenced by the postmark, to the following address:
